George Alvin Dillow, Jr. 59, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, October 2, 2013 with his family by his side. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. George was a native of Norfolk, and resided in Hampton for the past 25 years. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

George was preceded in death by his parents Al and Betty Dillow and father-in-law Ben Copeland, Sr. He leaves to cherish the memory of his sweet and gentle nature, his wife Charlotte Copeland Dillow, beloved children Cody Samuel Dillow and Mary Katherine Dillow; brother Ed Dillow (Amanda) and sister Michelle Dillow Nutt (Dave), brother-in-law, Ben Copeland, Jr. (Yvette), mother-in-law, Mary L. Copeland, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5 at 4 PM at Hampton Baptist Church, followed by a reception in the Jones Fellowship Hall. Interment will be private.
