Gary Wayne Musser, 69, passed away on Friday May 23, 2025.  He was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to parents Guy and Mildred Musser, one of five brothers.  Gary graduated high school, served his country in the U.S. Air Force; and then retired from civil service after 40 years of dedicated service.

Camping was a favorite pastime, especially while visiting dear friends in Blacksburg.  He also enjoyed working in his flower gardens, bird watching, traveling, fishing and spending time with family.

Preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Geremiah Wayne Musser; he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 50 years, Gean Musser; daughter, Heather Bayer and her husband, Michael Bayer, IV; brothers Rick Musser, Steve Musser (Amy), Ken Musser, and Russ Musser; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends to include Jimmy Jack, David Johnson, Glenn Hurlburt, Lynn Hickle, Rodney Hess, and Robert Edwards.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia.
