Obituary

Frederick Brown Case, 94, died Friday, June 3, 2016. Born in Flint, MI he grew up there and then joined the Army Air Corps, serving during WWII at Langley Air Field. Returning to Flint, MI he worked 42 years for General Motors as a designer until retiring and then returned to Hampton in 1992. Fred was a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church, Monitor Masonic Lodge and had also been a volunteer for many years at the Hampton V. A. Medical Center. Fred and Gloria traveled extensively square dancing for about 50 years.

Fred is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gloria Elliott Case; sister, Barbara Cantley; sisters-in-law, Gladys Elliott Allerton and Marion Elliott; a special niece, Joyce Lawrence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by Rev. Eric J. Vaudt with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10-11 am.
