Obituary

Franklin D. Chambers, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 after reaching the age of 84 years old. He was born on February 5, 1939 in Beaver Falls, PA to Joseph Franklin and Margaret Clarissa Chambers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Clarence and sister Olive. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy; his 6 children, Jill Brinson (Bryan), Judith Fink (Carl), Eddie Taylor, Jonathan Taylor (Janet), Marnie Louk (Ron) and Marie Taylor-Schuhart (Brian); 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter, his brothers, Calvin, Marvin and David; and his sister Cheryl-Ann. He has multiple nieces and nephews.

Frank proudly served in the United States Army for six years. A longtime resident of Hampton, he retired from the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in 1999. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, golfing and his family.

A memorial service will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00pm. Please dress casually.

A gathering for friends and family will be held at his home after the memorial service.
