Francisco Javier Hernandez, Jr., 32, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Hampton.  Junior to friends and family, he enjoyed yard work, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.  He loved to cook and always looked forward to spending time with his children, especially during the holidays. Junior loved tattooing in his high school days; he was very humorous individual, who loved to make people crack a smile, always the life of the party, and his laughter could send a wave of smiles throughout the room.  Junior was an avid gamer, outdoorsman and loved to party.  He learned his skills of waterproofing, construction, and other valuable trade skills needed throughout life while working with his father; and loved all his pets.

Junior leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Amira Herandez, age 8, and son, Brayden Hernandez, age 11; parents, Francisco J. Hernandez, Sr. and Linda Jackson; sister, Rosalinda Hernadez; brothers, Brandon Hernandez and Dustin Jackson, and wife, Keena; nieces, Lela, Gaberielle, and Aubreanna Jackson; nephews, Nathaniel Jackson and Dustin Matthew Jackson, II; uncles, Charles Lilley and wife, Lynne and Jose Hernandez and wife, Barbie; aunts, Susana Hernandez and Patricia Hernandez; cousins, Mikaela Lilley and Charles Lilley, IV and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 6 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
