Frances Vivian Ware, 84, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014. Born in Coolville, OH, she had been a resident of Hampton since 1974. She retired, after 15 years, from Tenneco (Newport News Shipbuilding) in 1993 as an electrician. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Trevy Kimble; three brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are her husband Edward F. Ware; children, Diane Wright and her husband Jeff of Hampton, Gary Heavener of Newport News and Bonnie Heavener of Hampton; sister, Mary Hundridge of New Mexico; brother, Carl Kimble of OH; grandchildren, Natasha Sok, Christopher Esada, Greg Heavener, Jessica Heavener, Mark Wright, Tina Wright and Sherri Ross; and 12 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Thursday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Downtown Hampton. A funeral service will be conducted 10:00am Friday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the American Lung Association, 5349 E.
