Evelyn P. Solomon, 81, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. A native of North Carolina, she had been a Hampton resident since 1951. She was active in First Presbyterian Church of Hampton, the Woman's Club of Hampton and the Hampton Elks Lodge.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Solomon; her children, Allen (Susan) Solomon, Katherine (Ronald) Alston and Dennis Solomon; her brother, James (Mary Jane) Pridgen; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lawson and Troy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Hampton. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to your favorite charity.
