Evalyn Boggs Tucker went home to our Lord on her birthday April 25, 2023 at the age of 92 . She was born in West Virginia, she had been a longtime peninsula resident. Evalyn spent her career in different roles with Hampton City School System retiring as the hiring officer for the transportation office . She was a talented artist and was well know in the Buckroe Beach art show community as well as others , she loved playing games on her iPad world traveler in the past .

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Boggs and her late husband Fred Tucker; her parents Randall and Oreatha Huff; her son Randy Boggs;her granddaughter, Heather Price Strihan; her grandson, Randall Boggs Jr; her brother, Rex Huff. Evalyn is survived by her daughter, Rhonda and Kenny Spencer; grandchildren, Leon "Poncie" Bennett and Broch Bennett, John Spencer and Kristin Spencer; great-grandchildren, Miah, Maddison, Ava Grace, Ronin and Lyli; nieces Evaline and Toni. Gee as she was called by her loved ones also loved her fur grandbabies, Ginger, Hexie, and Rolo.

A viewing will be held from 2:30PM-3PM on Saturday, May 6 2023 in the chapel mausoleum at Parklawn Memorial Park. A service will follow in the chapel mausoleum at 3PM. Entombment with her late husband will follow in the chapel mausoleum.
