Eula Pingley Robbins, 82, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. Born in Valley Head, WV, she moved to Hampton, VA with her family in 1945. After graduating from Hampton High School in 1959, she completed a bookkeeping degree and worked for Noland Company until her children were born.

Eula later went on to work in the banking industry and ended her career with Suntrust as the Vice President of Regional Operations for the eastern district of Virginia. In 1999, she was presented the award for Outstanding Professional Woman by the Business Community of Hampton Roads. She was an avid golfer, Volksmarcher, photographer, and loved taking vacations with her family. Her devoted dog, Max, was a great joy to her. Eula will be greatly missed by her family and friends, including her bridge group, some of whom have played together for over 50 years.

Eula was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dallas Robbins, her daughter-in-law Yancy Robbins, and her best friend Barbara Burge. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Gibson and her husband Rick, of Hampton; her son Anthony Robbins and his wife Michelle, of Yorktown; two grandchildren, Kelsey Robbins and Jonathan Gibson, and great grandchild Forrest Robbins.

A funeral service will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7th at 10AM.
