Erik Don Mikula, age 50, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 8, 2021.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph and Janet Mikula.  Erik received his Associates Degree in Network Administration from ECPI University and was employed as a Business Analyst with BAE Systems.

Erik loved his family and will fondly be remembered as a very giving and caring husband, father, brother and uncle. He enjoyed cars, video games,  fixing things, and watching movies, especially Godzilla.

Erik is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia L. "Ginny" Mueller; his two daughters, Leila Blais and her wife, Jenee Blais, and Erika Mueller and her wife, Mary Stuart; sister, Victoria Mikula and her husband, Fred Dingledy; brother-in-law, John Lytton; niece, Alexandra Dingledy; and nephew, Bobby Lytton.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.
