Eric Dale Richardson, 75, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.  Born in Dickson, TN, he has been a resident of Hampton since 1972.

Eric Retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1981 after 20 years which included service during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a computer operator for Newport News Shipbuilding, retiring in 2005 after 23 years.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Priscilla J. Richardson; daughters, Janet Lea Nusbaum, Sarah Lynn Phillips, and Marcy Lou Hudson; son, Jason Dale Richardson-White; brother, Darrell Lewis Richardson; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:00 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at New Covenant Church, 1079 Big Bethel Rd. in Hampton.  Following the service, Interment with full military honors will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
