IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emelia R.
Morgan
May 20, 1942 – February 12, 2022
Emelia Rosalie Morgan, 79, widow of David L. Morgan, died Saturday, February 12, 2022. Born in San Francisco, CA, her father being in the Army and with frequent family moves, she happily became a Peninsula resident in 1953 where she graduated from St. Vincent Catholic High School in 1960.
Emelia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had worked several jobs but last had worked for many years until retiring as a hostess at Hardees. She had been an avid bowler which was how she met her husband David. She brought a smile to anyone who came in contact with her and was loved by many. She will be missed immensely.
Emelia is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Hennings and husband Karl; step-daughter, Amelia Donathan; sisters, Madeline Parsons (Benny), and Therese Krupansky; brother, Joseph Krupansky (Carol); grandchildren, Sarah Poole (Alex) and Karl Hennings; and her beloved caregiver, Cindy Delcid who she always considered family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10-11 am.
She loved caring for animals and donations to the peninsula SPCA or Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter are welcome in lieu of flowers.
