Elizabeth Ann Ford, 100, died Thursday, November 12, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of Hampton, Mrs. Ford lived in Phoebus and was a 1932 graduate of Hampton High School. Mrs. Ford is survived by her nieces and nephews, Johon and Solon Paul, Richard and Veronica Richter, John D. Ferris Jr., and Diane M. Hux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Ford; son, Harry J. Ford; parents, Richard D. and Melbena Ferris; sisters, Mary F. Boswell, Anne Bonday and Evelyn Ferris; and brothers, Harry P. Ferris, William Ferris, Cyrus Ferris and John D. Ferris. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 19, 2015 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to a favorite church or charity.
