On Wednesday, September 21 ^st , 2022, Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Legare, 80, passed away after a well-fought battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in Norfolk, Virginia, with frequent visits by friends and family preceding her death.

Having grown up surrounded by farm animals, Elizabeth was well known for her love of cows and other animals. Elizabeth was an avid fan of Elvis and listened to his music frequently. She loved spending time with her friends and family and often doted on her great-grandchildren any time they visited. Elizabeth was well known and loved by the communities she lived in, including most recently those at Willow Creek Gracious Retirement Living in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Mary, her son Gary, and her second daughter Nikole; her granddaughters Ann, Lyndsay, and Makayla; grandsons Jeffrey, Matt, and Jordan; her four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Phyllis Shull of Bradford, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Elizabeth.
