Elizabeth Adelle Allen, 59, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 after a long illness.Elizabeth  is survived by her children Scott and Heather; parents, Virginia and Richard Clark, sister Melissa, grandchildren Emily and Chloe,along with several cousins, Aunt and Uncle. Liz was a long time resident of Hampton and a Bethel High School graduate. Liz worked in the administration field and was last employed by the McDonald's Nursery in Hampton. Liz was a free spirit and warrior living longer than what time doctor's had given her. Liz enjoyed writing poetry,home interior designing,music,dancing along with helping others as she could and attending Waters Edge Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Saint Francis Nursing Home and the staff of Heartland Hospice of Newport News.Donations in Liz's name can be made to Heartland Hospice of Newport News or The American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 PM Saturday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in downtown Hampton.
