Edna Ramona Russell, age 91, passed away on August 3, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Ramona was a resident of Hampton for 41 years. Her greatest joy was the love of family and her savior, Jesus Christ. Ramona was married to the love of her life, Len Russell, both from Macks Creek, Missouri. She was a loving and supportive Air Force spouse for 28 years. Ramona was active in her church, Hampton Baptist, and community. She was especially involved in her son David's day program, Versability Resources – Envisions.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Len C. Russell; her son, David Russell; her parents Oscar Kelso and Golda Kelso Jetter; her brothers Cecil Kelso and wife Fern; Junior Kelso and wife Rilda; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Ramona is survived by Carol Russell Schulze, daughter; Peggy Russell Jones, daughter and husband Bob; grandchildren, Kristen Schulze Hollingsworth and husband Mike; Katherine Schulze; Bobby Jones and wife Corey; Becky Jones Johnson and husband Jesse; great-grandchildren Elliette and Emery Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, officiated by Dr. Chester Brown. Interment will be held after the service at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton.
