Earline A. Fix, 78, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2016, at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved crocheting, sewing, and above all else she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, Henry Fix; son, Clint Handy (Jackie); daughter, Cathy Miller (Mike); 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as one brother and 4 sisters.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6-8PM. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Wayne Moore and Rev. Eric Vaudt will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
