IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dwayne Anthony
Grigoleit
April 9, 1974 – May 15, 2021
Dwayne Anthony Grigoleit Sr. 47, passed away May 15, 2021. Dwayne was born in California and moved all over the United States before settling in Hampton Roads. He loved his family and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a jack of all trades, capable of building and fixing anything. Dwayne found his calling as a barber where he perfected his craft over a 25-year career. For the last 5 years Dwayne had made that calling his full-time career, working hard to become a master barber. Dwayne believed in 2nd chances and believed that it was never too late to turn your life around. He practiced what he preached by volunteering his barber services to those who may have strayed from the right path and needed a fresh haircut and some words of advice and encouragement to help them find a new direction. He was a lover of Raiders football, golf, and fishing. His favorite hobby and passion was riding motorcycles where he made countless friends. Dwayne was a friend that a friend would like to have. He would drop everything to help those in need, he would give you the shirt off his back, and if you were his friend, you were family and there was no limit to the ways he would love and support you in your times of need.
Dwayne is survived by his wife Jessica Grigoleit; children, Kandice Wauhop (Jesse), Dwayne Jr., Alexander, and Jared; mother, Victoria (Rick); grandparents. Ann and Ralph Gregory; brothers, Jeffrey, Wesley, and Adam; grandchildren, Micah, Lucas, Jesse, and Kaetlyn; brother-in-law, Jason Rhodes (April), Justin Rhodes (Rachel); niece, Alissa and nephews, Jacob and Dylan; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service will be held at Lighthouse, 4299 George Washington Memorial Highway Hayes, VA 23072 on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2PM. The family will greet friends following the service at Lighthouse.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone in the community and his beloved friends that have shown the family love and gratitude in their time of need.
