Dorothy Hilderbrand Brown, 89, widow of Buist W. Brown, died Sunday, February 9, 2014. Daughter of Earl and Nell Hilderbrand, Dorothy was born in Atlanta, GA and resided in Hampton since 1954; she was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Scott; son, John Brown and wife Sally; grandsons, Scott Brown and Todd Brown and wife Kristen; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Brown, Elliott Brown, Charlie Brown and Max Brown.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church Hampton by Dr. Cynthia Rosser-Higgins.

The family requests that memorials in lieu of flowers take the form of contributions to First Presbyterian Church 514 South Armistead Ave, Hampton.
