Doris Edwards White, 85, of Hampton, VA died peacefully in her sleep Monday morning after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by husband Clyde White, son Michael White and siblings Maggie Graham, and Raymond and Herbert Edwards. She is survived by brother James Edwards of Danville, children Benita Jackson (Pat) of North Wilkesboro, Rhonda Carter of Sutherlin and Tim White of Hampton.

Mrs. White was also blessed with five grandchildren and four great grandsons.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church 445 Shelton Road, Hampton with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11-12.
