Deborah G. Rowland, 59, passed away on June 25, 2015 at HRSH after a long and hard fought illness. Debbie (to all that knew her) was a member of Northampton Church of Christ and up until her illness, was the switchboard operator (aka Phone Goddess) at PSCHR for 15 years. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Donald S. and Judith B. Glover. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Ralph W. Rowland, his children and grandchildren, Terry Medler (Kevin), Chris and Amanda, Lisa Jones, (Albert), and Brandon, Scott Rowland (Lisa), Jessica,(Kevin) Jerrod and great grandson, Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Donna Nunnally (Roger), and their children, Ray and Kari, brother Donnie Glover Jr. (Donna), and their children, Alaison and Bryan, uncle Claude Beach, and aunt Jean Nelms. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 4:00 p.m. at Northampton Church of Christ, Hampton. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private. The family would like to thank all the staff at Riverside Regional Medical Center and Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital for all the care and support given to Debbie.
