Deborah Kay Hartman, 68, of Hampton died December 1, 2025. She was born to Jonathan and Eunice Starling. She loved stockcar racing, cooking for her family and friends, the beach and her pets, Chloe and Bowser.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jonathan; twin infant sisters; and brothers, Franklin and Michael. She is survived by her husband, Martin Huxford; mother, Eunice; daughter, Shannon; step-son, Tyler (Kelsey); grandchildren, Cassidy, Ryan, Curren, and Rory; sister, Teresa; brothers, Eugene, Keith, Chris, and Greg; and a large extended family.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors at Riverside Hospice for their care.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Saturday December 13, from 3-4PM followed by a memorial service at 4PM.
