Debora K. Fredrickson, 57, died on Saturday, October 22, 2016. A longtime resident of the Peninsula, she was born in Rantoule Illinois. She loved football and she and her husband cheered on the Minnesota Vikings whenever they played. Debora loved flowers and spent a great deal of time tending to her garden. One of her favorite things was spending time with her puppy Lola.

Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Fredrickson; sons, Jason Paul, Travis Paul, Donald "Chip" Fredrickson; step-daughters, Charly Burch and Tabatha Henry; sisters, Vicky Carty, Kathy Jarrell, Cindy Dawson, and 15 grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tian and Dr. Lafalce, the 3rd and 4th floor nurses at Sentara Careplex, and the home care specialists from Compassionate Care Hospice for all their loving care during her illness.
