David Edward Wilson, 74, passed away at home in Virginia Beach on Friday, April 21, 2017. A lifelong resident of Tidewater, he graduated from Hampton High School and then Old Dominion University with a degree in History. He was a clerk at the Oceanfront Public Library in Virginia Beach. He was an avid fisherman.

David is survived by his brothers and sisters, James M. Wilson, Joanne Holley, William G. Wilson, Randolph G. Wilson and Christina L. Wilson.

A service will be scheduled at a later date.
