David Weston Johnson, 39, of Hampton, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep, September 11, 2018. He graduated from Bethel High School and worked as a chef in various restaurants. He also owned a music business, Jailhouse Records. His church home was Warwick Assembly of God.

David loved God with all of his heart and is now rejoicing with him in his heavenly home. He was a kind, gentle person with a great sense of humor who loved his family, friends, animals, nature, and music. David was so special to all of us and he would want everyone to know that the most important thing you can do is ask Jesus into your heart so you can live with him forever.

He is survived by his parents, Nancy A. and Edward D. Johnson, his sister, Michele A. Wesdock (Brendan), and their sons Noah and Jack, his grandmother, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will take place Saturday September 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Warwick Assembly of God, 1228 Todds Lane, Hampton, followed by a reception.
