David Arthur Constable, 78, died Sunday, April 24, 2016. Born in New York he had lived in Myrtle Beach before moving to Hampton in 2011. Mr. Constable had retired from IBM as manager of facility maintenance after 37 years service and had been a member of the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department since 1952.

Mr. Constable is survived by his wife, Alberta Constable; children, Debra Ann Drew, Carolyn Constable, David M. Constable, and Michele Bragg; four grandchildren, Tiffany Drew, Tanner Bragg, Tyler Bragg and Paige Bragg; one great-grandchild, Luigi Vurchio; and his favorite granddog, Scrappie.
