David George Antolick, 80, of Newport News, departed this life July 9, 2015. David was born November 29, 1934, in Hazleton, PA. He served in the U.S. Army for 26 years and was last stationed at Ft. Monroe. After he retired from the Army, he worked for the civil service at Ft. Eustis for nearly 20 years. David was preceded in death by his brothers Robert, William, and Frederick Antolick and his wife of 31 years, Ursula Antolick. After her death, he enjoyed another chance at love with Josephine Winterringer Antolick, to whom he was married for 15 years. David is survived by Josephine and his children, Brian (Kate) Antolick, Julie Antolick Winters, and Steven (Christine) Antolick, as well as his stepchildren, Christine (Derek) Robinson and Katherine (Paul) Strohm, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John (Victoria) Antolick, several nephews, and his beloved Dachshund puppies, Munchkin and Liesel. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 1:30 pm, at Langley Christian Church, 175 Fox Hill Rd., Hampton. David will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be determined.
