Daniel R.  Corliss, 42, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024.  A lifelong resident of Hampton, he was the firstborn son of Kimberly and big brother to Michael. Danny enjoyed watching cooking channels and cooking, as well as bowling.  He loved to draw and became an accomplished tattoo artist.  Danny was a carpenter by trade and was also skilled in electrical and plumbing work.

Preceded in death by his Dad, William A. Ericson; Danny leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved mother, Kimberly McCoy and her husband, Randy; grandfather (Papaw) Earl Vaughn; grandmother (Mamaw) Barbara Farmer; his brother, Michael R. Vaughn; his son, Austin R. Corliss; daughters, Tessa, Mila, Zoey, and Jade Corliss; his granddaughter, Alaya Corliss; niece Ellie; uncle, Darrin S. Vaughn;  as well as extended family and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made in Danny's name to a charity of your choice.
