Dana Virginia Young, 69, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Born in Washington DC, she made her home in Skillman, NJ for many years until moving to Williamsburg in 2007. Dana was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg and had worked many years in New Jersey as a school nurse and then as a substitute nurse in Williamsburg. She was passionate about sports and politics, and was active in her Colonial Heritage neighborhood.

Dana is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Mara Schaefer and husband John, Jennifer Elaine Amick and husband Jeff; sister, Vicky Daiker; grandchildren John Schaefer Jr, Michael Schaefer, Tyler Amick; many friends and her dog Franklin.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Bede Catholic Church at 3:00 on Friday, September 6, 2013.
