Jean Dale Lackey, 69, died Saturday, November 26, 2022. A lifelong resident of Hampton, she was a very active member of Faith Church of God for many years, serving as a Sunday school teacher and playing the piano and singing, until her health prevented her attendance. She worked as an RN at Riverside Regional Medical Center for many years before starting her own RN Consulting business. She and her husband also started CPR for Life, a local business which trained and recertified people in CPR. Dale had loved animals since she was a young child and was a great supporter of the ASPCA. Her favorite pastime was spending time in the Outer Banks with her family.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Lackey; her daughter, April Shannon Jensen (Jason); her son, David Lackey; three grandchildren, Alexis, Collin, and Liam; a sister, Judy Alexander; and a brother, Steve Hux.
