Dale Thomas Foster, 64, died Monday, August 4, 2014. A native of Hampton and lifelong resident of the Peninsula, Dale graduated from Kecoughtan High School. He worked many years as an auto mechanic and then as a lawn mower technician at Sears until retiring in 1997. Dale is survived by his wife, Kathleen Foster; children, Christina Marie Foster, Cheryl Brooke Foster Glosson, and Joel Scott Shook; sisters, Diane Sprecker, Doreen Foster Greco and Dean Foster; and grandchildren, Keirah Hall, Alisah Hall and Elliott Glosson. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2014 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA.
