Obituary

TOANO - Curtis A. Barbour, born June 20, 1929, went to be with the Lord and our mother on August 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Jo Ann F. Barbour, his son David A. Barbour, his son-in-law Stephen D. Carmean, parents Mary McCabe And Junius A. Barbour, his brother G. Graham Barbour and sister Patricia Barbour Stewart and her husband Kenneth. He is survived by his daughters Tracee Carmean Roberts and her husband Woody, Julie A. Barbour, Vicki B. Drury and her husband Robert, and Merri B. Relleva and her husband Richard, his brother L. Lynn Barbour as well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He graduated from Four Oaks High School in 1946. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Immediately following at 10:30 a.m., a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. John David Ramsey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to our Riverside Hospice or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
