Connie Sue Reynolds, 68, went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2026. She was born on Jan 11, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI to Donald and Irene Rhoades. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Jimmy and Harriet Reynolds; her sisters, Tammy Rhoades and Rita Dale and Rita’s husband Calvin Dale; her brother-in-law, Vincent Seidnitzer; and her nephew, Randy Dale.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James R. Reynolds Jr.; sons, James R Reynolds IIl and Gregory L. Reynolds (Kris); grandchildren, Taylor, James IV (Naiia), Zackary Greg II (MaKayla), and Kiara; great-grandchildren, Ivy, Iris, Jocelynn, Vivienne, Grey, Giovanni and Gianna; sisters, Vickie Seidnitzer and Joanie Rammelt; brother, Donald Rhoades Jr (Kim); nieces and nephews, Tammy Dale, Shawn, Chelsea, Hunter Darrin, Donald, David, Daniel, Sara (Shaun) Thomas (Jolene); sisters-in-law, Jackie Reynolds, and Donna Dean(Vernon).

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 5-7PM. A funeral service will be held at 2PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with interment in Hampton Memorial Gardens following immediately after.
