Cindy Lou Sites, 61, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Born in Marion, NC, she had been a longtime Newport News resident until moving to Smithfield in 2000. Cindy had worked as a nurse and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Cindy is survived by her daughters, Melissa Clarke and Nikole Anderson; son, Jesse Sullivan; sister, Julie Vause; brothers, Truitt Woodby, Ted Woodby; grandchildren, Jared Clarke, Mark Smith, Alexis Sullivan, Valerie Anderson and Jessica Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Eva Woodby; and brother, Dean Woodby.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669.
