Christopher Denny, known affectionately as Chris, was born on September 1st, 1970 in Newport News Virginia. He passed away on July 18th, 2024, in the same city where he spent most of his life. Chris was a gentle giant whose presence was felt by all who knew him.

A dedicated professional, Chris worked in computer technology for over 25 years at Canon. Chris had a deep love for movies, particularly science fiction and westerns, which sparked his imagination and fueled his lifelong interest in space exploration. He was also an avid player of online role-playing games, where he enjoyed connecting with friends and immersing himself in fantastical worlds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Betty Denny. He is survived by his sister Kim Denny, who cherished their bond and the memories they created together. Chris will be remembered for his kindness, enthusiasm for storytelling, and his unique ability to make those around him feel valued and understood. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

There will be a service at Thornspring church cemetery in Dublin Virginia at a later date.
