Obituary

Christine Gaynell Cruz, 49, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, she helped many people in the area as a Home Health Aide.Christine is survived by her husband, Luis W. Cruz; children, Andrea Ambrose (husband Brandon), Aaron Capps, Jr. (wife Nongnaphas), and Landen Cruz; sisters, Tina Mann and Jennifer Salvatore; brother, Michael Mann, Jr.; and grandchildren, Gracelyn and Stella Ambrose.The family will have visitation from 7-8:30 PM Friday at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton. Christine's life will be remembered and celebrated at 5:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel.The family wishes in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
