Cheryl Ann Adam, 78, died Friday, February 17, 2023.  Born to parents Jack and Dorothy Davis in Little Rock, Arkansas, she had been a Hampton resident since 1981.   Cheryl married Sylvest "Mike" Michell Adam, Jr. on November 17, 1960, and they were married for 62 years.  She was a life member and past president of VFW #3219.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband; she is survived by sons Dennis Michael Adam (Jessie) and Joseph Patrick Adam; grandchildren, Michael David, Rachel Mercedes, and Shannon Danielle; and great-granddaughter, Courtney Alexandra.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Zion Baptist Church, 125 West County Street, Hampton.  Interment will be private.

Memorials may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Zion Baptist Church.
