Charlotte Ann Jonas was born on July 22, 1930. She went home to the Lord on April 3rd, 2014. She had a wonderful life, full of family, loved ones, and friends. Charlotte was one of those people that you fell in love with once you met her. She was always there for you, ready to lend a hand, and nothing you needed was too big or small.

Charlotte was a loving military wife, mother, sister, and Grandmommy. Charlotte ran Buckroe Baptist Day Care for 35 years and loved every moment of it. Along with her own grandchildren attending, she watched her babies at the daycare grow up and even when some became teenagers, they would come and see her as if she was their own Grandmommy.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Jonas, and son Phil Jonas. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Debbie and Jim Belt, her son and daughter in law, Duke and Denise Jonas, four grandchildren, Selena Worley, Leha Worley, Jeremy Tillem, and Jared Jonas. Her great granddaughter, Emorie Ann Benner, and her siblings, Loulia Lawson, Phill Compton, and Lewis Compton.

She will be dearly missed by the lives of all she touched.

Charlotte's life will be celebrated 2:00 PM Saturday at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
