Charles Brian Lockwood, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 7, 2022. He was a life long resident of Hampton, a graduate of Hampton High School and the University of Virginia. He was the owner of CWL Construction. Some of his favorite things were music, making beautiful stained glass projects, spending time with family, sports, and working hard.

He is survived by wife, Bobbie; parents, Charles  W. and Mildred B Lockwood; two daughters, Wendy Deitz and Tara Schwartz (Rob); son, Jason Deitz; 5 grandchildren, Brooke S. Harrison (Quentin), Hannah Southall, Samantha Schwartz, Benjamin Schwartz, and Olivia Schwartz;  4 great-grandchildren, Amelia, Sisley, Rayli, and Adella; sisters, Sharon Muller; and Candace Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 14, 12:00 pm, at Ivy Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 am. Interment will be at Peninsula Memorial Cemetery.
