Charles W. "Chuck" Haughwout, 67, died Sunday, July 3, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he had been a Hampton resident for the last 50 years. He retired from Sentara Careplex in 2019 after 35 years of service. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and he played lead guitar in many local bands.

Preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Haughwout, his wife, Suzanne Haughwout, and a sister, Ruth Shriver; survivors include his mother, Caroline Haughwout; his brother, Joseph C. Haughwout; a stepdaughter, Barbara Hodges; and two step-grandchildren, Phillip and Timothy Hodges.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Clark Cemetery.
