Charleen L. Maninga, 82 passed into eternal rest on Friday, October 4, 2013. She was born on September 20, 1931 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Herman and Lucille Schuett. She has been a resident of Hampton since 1966.

Charleeen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Maninga; her dad, Herman C. Schuett; her mother and step-dad, Lucille and Robert Matthews; her brother, Carl Schuett; and her son, Robert E. Maninga. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Dean (Robert) of Boise, Idaho; her son, John W. Maninga (Ann) of Hampton; two sisters, Dorothy Hebard of Billings, MT; and Donna Tinker of Janesville, WI. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 1-2 PM.

Charleen requested that any memorials be sent to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
