Celeste Serra Bouchard, 84, passed away on February 25, 2014. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 20, 1929, but lived in Portugal until she was fifteen years old. She lived in CT until 1975 when she moved to Rocky Mount, VA with her husband.

She moved to Hampton in 1987 after her husband passed away, to be near her daughters and grandchildren. She moved to Patriots Colony in Williamsburg in 2011 at the request of her daughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Bouchard Major Ret. USAF and son, Thomas Keith Bouchard. She is survived by daughters: Alice Bowles and husband J. Robin and Cynthia Coleman and husband Christopher, of Williamsburg; grandchildren: Bradley Bowles and fiancee, Ria; Matthew Seniw and fiancee, Debra; Joseph Bowles; Stefanie Wagner and husband Jonathan; and Sarah Coleman; sisters: Irene Joaquim and Julieta Serra of CT; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for several years and a member of St. Mary's Guild. She loved to cook, crochet and write poetry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in memory of Celeste, be made to Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 PM Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Immediately following at 7:00 PM A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Rev. Peter Tran. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park at 11:00 AM Tuesday.
