Cathy J. Herring passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023.  She is predeceased by her son, Gary Herring, Jr.; her father, Adrian Brandt, Sr.; brother, Adrian Brandt, Jr., two sisters, Carol Mulligan and Betty Parker.  She is survived by her daughters, Jessica and Chelsie Herring; her mother, Gladys Brandt, sister, Helen Clark; brothers, Don and Billy Brandt, sisters-in-law, Sallie and Teresa Brandt, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  Cathy was a talented hairdresser and was passionate about caring for people, which she showed through her work as a home health aide.  She enjoyed being out on the water and cheering for the Washington Commanders.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2 PM.  Please contact the daughters for more information.
