Carroll Thomas Shields, 83, died Friday, March 25, 2022. Born in York County, he was a lifelong Peninsula resident where he was a member of Huntington Mennonite Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Franklin and Louise Preston Shields; survivors include his wife, Marie Shields; his daughter, Suzanne Williamson and husband, Ronnie; his son, Mark Shields; three grandchildren, Chad, Brock and Dylan; and two brothers, Charles and George Wayne Shields.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Warwick River Mennonite Cemetery, 250 Lucas Creek Road, NN. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 PM Friday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
