Carolyn Hines Muse, 89, died Thursday, June 2, 2022. Born in Greenville, NC, she had been a Hampton resident since 1960 where she retired from Hampton City Schools as a Librarian. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and liked to knit with the ladies at the church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donnell M. Muse; survivors include her daughter, Melissa Sturgis and her husband, Ken; and two grandsons, Ashby Muse Sturgis and his wife, Naïd and Britt Watson Sturgis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
