Obituary

Carole Ann Rector, 65, died peacefully at her home on July 7, 2018 after fighting a very courageous battle with this last cancer. Born April 14, 1953 to the late Dorothy Leshen and Edward Koza in Pittsburgh, PA, she was known as mom to so many that needed help or just a place to call home. She always had her door open and would never turn anyone away.

Mom loved her Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend that had a heart to help anyone she could. Her family meant the world to her and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was also a devoted member at Langley Baptist Church where she was a choir member and loved her Lord and Savior.

Preceded in death by her beloved son, Jay Christ and granddaughter, Cassady Barrick, she is survived by her husband, William "Tommy" Rector; daughters, Tammi Barrick (Scott) and Renae Moreno; sisters, Jean Laemmle (Richard) and Jan Boyd; brothers, Harry Leshen and Edward Koza (Donna); grandchildren, Samantha, JT and Tayler Barrick, Anastasia and David Daniska II and Tori and Rose Moreno.

A memorial service and gathering will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Langley Baptist Church, 116 E. Little Back River Rd, Hampton. Services start at 11:00 AM with the gathering directly after in the fellowship hall. All are welcome.
