Carol Janet Sharma, 44, passed away on September 13, 2018. Born to David and Janey Bennett she was proud of her family's Scottish heritage and her lineage to the Dickson Clan. Carol was a world class swimmer and talented gymnast. She served in the United States Air Force with the Security Forces at Nellis Air Force Base as part of the Air Combat Command in Nuclear Security, as well as served in Desert Storm. One of her greatest passions was rescuing animals and volunteering with the Norfolk ASPCA. Her greatest love was her twin sons Kiran and Khameron, who she loved with all of her heart.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home from 3-4PM on Saturday, September 22, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 5PM at Fox Hill Road Baptist Church.
