Carel Gregory Dupree, age 58, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2016. Born to Joseph and Margaret Dupree in Baltimore, Maryland, Carel was a resident of Hampton for 8 years. He served in the Army for 2 years and later worked in construction. In addition, he loved to cook.

Carel is survived by his girlfriend, Audrey Smith; his brothers, Robert Dupree and wife, Linda, and David Dupree; his sisters, Ruby Keith and husband, Jeardon, and Shirley Nichols and husband, Barlow; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Maryland.
