Brianna Lorraine Barnette, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 2, 2023.  Born December 18, 1996, to parents Matthew Barnette and April Thomas, she was a graduate of Heritage High School in Newport News.

Brianna loved to read, she loved to laugh and most of all she loved her children and reconnecting with beloved family over recent years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Emilee Lorraine Barnette; son, Cameron "CJ" Wayne Barnette; father, Matthew Barnette; mother, April Thomas; sisters, Brittany N. Barnette and Bailey C. Barnette; grandmothers, Linda Langley and Nancy Thomas; aunts and uncles, Loretta Wooten, Jenny Thomas, Mike Barnette, Michael Thomas and Chip Thomas; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, February 17, 2023, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia.
