Brian Joseph Young, 56, passed away on November 9, 2021.  Born in St. Ignace, MI, he had been a resident of Hampton since 1987.  He worked at Hudgins Contracting as a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 20 years.

Brian is survived by his wife, Gina Young; children, Neil A. Young and fiance Allie Lake, Ryan J. Young, Samantha G. Urquhart, Stephen J.A.Urquhart, Katherine N. Urquhart; his father, Al Young; siblings, Tonya Y. Neal and Travis Young; and granddaughter, Gabbie.

The family will receive friends from 11-12:30 PM Saturday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave. in Hampton, 757-723-3191. The family requests in Brian's memory, you wear something with the color purple to signify esophageal cancer.
